The Beginning: A Passion for Technology

From a young age, I was fascinated by technology and its limitless possibilities. This passion led me to pursue my studies at J.P. Dawar Institute of Information Science and Technology, where I built a strong foundation in web development. Every line of code I wrote felt like a new puzzle to solve, and this curiosity fueled my desire to dive deeper into the world of WordPress.

Stepping into the Professional World

After completing my education, I embarked on my professional journey as a WordPress Engineer at rtCamp, a company known for its expertise in WordPress development. The experience was enriching—I got to work on real-world projects, collaborate with talented developers, and understand the intricacies of custom themes, plugins, and website optimization. The thrill of creating something functional and impactful from scratch was exhilarating.

A Leap of Faith: Venturing into Business

While working at rtCamp, I realized that my technical knowledge could be leveraged beyond just employment. I had an entrepreneurial itch that I couldn’t ignore. After much contemplation, I decided to start my own business in the printing industry. With high hopes, I invested in two printing machines for board, banner, wallpaper, and sticker printing. The idea was to combine my digital knowledge with physical branding solutions, catering to businesses that needed high-quality prints.

The first year was a rollercoaster ride. Every day was a new challenge—from acquiring clients and managing operations to handling finances and maintaining the machines. There were moments of triumph, but there were also many sleepless nights filled with doubt and uncertainty.

The Unexpected Challenge: COVID-19 Strikes

Just as I was beginning to find my footing, an unforeseen challenge hit—the COVID-19 pandemic. The lockdowns forced businesses to shut down, and mine was no exception. Demand plummeted, production slowed, and financial constraints became overwhelming. With limited investment left to sustain the business, I had to make a tough decision—to scale back operations significantly. Many of the products we once printed had to be discontinued, and I found myself at a crossroads.

Finding a New Path: A Return to WordPress

After much introspection, I knew I had to pivot. My heart had always been in web development, and I felt an undeniable pull back to the world of WordPress. However, I also didn’t want to let go of the business entirely, so I appointed someone else to manage the daily operations while I refocused on my true passion.

Determined to restart my journey, I turned to rtCamp’s WordPress learning program to sharpen my skills and update myself with the latest industry trends. Returning to WordPress felt like coming home—everything I had once loved about coding, designing, and problem-solving reignited within me.

Looking Ahead: A New Chapter

This journey has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of following one’s passion. From stepping into the corporate world to starting my own business and facing setbacks, each experience has shaped me into who I am today.
